Current work: Para-ecologist in “The Future Okavango” Project (www.future-okavango.org) Employed by the Kalahari Conservation Society (http://www.kcs.org.bw/) RESPONSIBILITIES: To be the link between the Seronga community and the organization above. Conducting research activities together with and on behalf of the researchers. Village orientation and introduction to the village operational structure to members of the project. Monitoring of project sites and maintenance of data.

Skills, experiences and interests: I am trained as a lodge manager through on-the-job training at Wilderness Safaris from 2002 to 2004. Here I was dealing with the whole lodge management, including Guest and staff relations Month’s end procedures (wages and banking) Monthly stock take and orders

My special skills are Guest etiquette Lodge administration Guiding of tourists Facilitating community workshops at village level Recording and filing of minutes

I also worked as an Assistant Professional Guide at Unvuvu campsite from 2006 to 2009. I assisted the Communities of N gamiland Area 32 in developing a Community Strategic Plan and a Community-Based Organisation. I worked with the communities of the Okavango Community Trust as the Secretary of the Board of Trustees from 1998 until 2002 as well as in 2011.

I enjoy a lot the interaction with people from different regions, getting involved in community issues and particularly in tourism-related activities.
